UQ – QBP Replacement of Air Compressors
St Lucia, Queensland
The project involved the replacement of the 2 air compressors in the basement of the QBP building. The existing compressors had reached end of life combined with a lack of capacity. UQ CAI Cleanroom Leakage Rectification
St Lucia, Queensland
This project involved the rectification of condensation issues within the cleanroom Laboratory. The problem was traced back to air leakage in the envelope of the Laboratory spaces. Negative pressure Labs were drawing in unconditioned outside air which was condensating on metal surfaces with the Labs. To rectify all services penetrating the envelope of the Lab were removed and reinstated with glanded detailing to make airtight. The Laboratory was shutdown to allow the works to be undertaken.
