UQ Stormwater Drainage Upgrade and Rectification

St Lucia, Queensland

The project involved the replacement and upgrade of the stormwater infrastructure with the Great Court at University of Queensland in order to rectify problems with the aging infrastructure. The works involved the excavation and replacement of stormwater pipes and pits to the perimeter of the great court. Replacement and upgrade of exposed aggregate garden edging, spoon drains and reinstatement of turfed areas. All works were undertaken whilst the campus remained operational.

UQ School of Psycology Upland Road Redevelopment – Civil works package

St Lucia, Queensland

The project involved converting 10 residential dwellings owned by the University of Queensland into offices for the School of Psychology. The Stage 1 Civil Works scope included – Civil works, Trunk sewer, Water supply, Electrical Conduits, Road works, Fencing, underpinning of houses, and hard/soft landscaping.

UQ Gatton – Underground Chilled Water Extension and plant room alterations

Gatton, Queensland

The project involved the extension of the existing underground chilled water infrastructure. The existing plant room required structural alterations for the for the installation of larger duckwork and grilles. The works were undertaken whilst the campus remained operational.

UQ Longpocket – Underground Chilled water Extension

Longpocket, Queensland

The project involved the extension of the existing underground chilled water system on campus to serve the Foxtail Building.

UQ Longpocket – High Voltage power upgrade

Longpocket, Queensland

The project involved the upgrade of all high voltage power infrastructure across the Longpocket campus. Construction of 4 substations and 2 new switchrooms. Installation of a new ring main involving the installation of conduits via directional boring and open excavation. The works were undertaken whilst the campus remained operational.
